This institution fosters a hostile and toxic work environment. People in management are vindictive and hateful, to say nothing of being unqualified for the positions they hold. Human Resources looks the other way while their employees are being exploited and harrassed. Employees are not trained properly and suffer the consequences when they don't meet expectations. While there is little chance of advancement in this company, especially if you speak up for yourself, there is zero chance of being paid what you're worth as a rank and file employee. And don't be surprised that the "elites" of the company are rewarded with outrageous compensation (the CEO of the company getting an $809,503 dollar increase in salary in a pandemic year - ProPublica.org) while the rest of us received nothing. Besides the outstanding faculty of this institution, there is absolutely nothing worthwhile about this institution. Work here at your own peril. Better yet, since there is an abundance of jobs out there, spend some time looking elsewhere - you'll be happier in the end.

No communication between departments, people are allowed to run things their way due to personal reasons rather than what's good for the institution as a whole, very "Good Ole Boy" club mentality, expect to be treated like a robot instead of a human being with feelings, actually heard a boss say to his staff after they expressed concerns about the virus and needing a day off for essential runs due to their age and risk that "Hey, it just like the flu right? Everybody eventually is gonna get it, but we have a business to run and when I need you here I expect you to be at my beck and call", their needs come before your own, YOU have to put your health and family first because they will not. They showed their true colors this year and many people have one foot out the door to find respectful employment.
