Pros

NYAP is a great entry level job. The workers/supervisors help with the adjustment to a new job and answers all questions. I have never had an argument with any worker and everyone is there to “lift up your spirits”.

Cons

The only con is some of the crises with the children. You want to do anything you can to help the foster youth that are in trouble but sometimes it’s not enough.

Pros

Great coworkers who serve as anchors when you’re about to fly off the handle.

Cons

Unrealistic work load. The productivity expectations require working an 80hr work week.
