Pros

Paid Time Off accural, the 401K with company match, brand new office in Grandview with covered parking, discounted COSI and Columbus Zoo tickets

Cons

The work-life balance is nonexistent. All management and the company care about is working you until you can't anymore. I am not important at work. Raises and promotions are next to none. If you leave, they will eventually bring in a contract employee through Randstad or Taylored Management to replace you. It is a revolving door. When you ask for help, you are told no, every single time. Extremely understaffed and underpaid. You will not receive help. You are told that you are struggling because you aren't good enough, and need to be coached and mentored, although the problems are clear throughout the IPSO department. The daily pressure is enormous. Lunches and breaks are not possible. Taking time off is difficult, and you will be contacted on your cell phone when you are out of the office, about your work & what needs done; NO work life balance. They are always promoting engagement and being active in committees and groups, but there is no time. You can't take the time out of your already not long enough 7.75hr day to be involved in anything. All they care about is how much you can produce.

Pros

There are excellent opportunities for learning and advancement with this company and its encouraged heavily. The people you work around are very friendly, helpful and patient. Lower management is generally good. Currently, flexible hours with some opportunities to work from home.

Cons

Dedication to overall quality on all levels does not seem to be a priority. Understaffed with heavy and often stressful workloads. Recent budget cuts and layoffs. Concerns about adequate compensation and benefits. Technology is for the most part, poor. Often left feeling underappreciated.
