Pros

Pay is good due to overtime. Not much else that's good. Company car w gas but your are charged a higher amount for a branded car????

Cons

Never ending overload of claims. Management is deaf, immediate supervisors are stressed out, over all field reps overpay, to avoid normal supplements.

Pros

Great coworkers, competitive salary, opportunity to move to different roles in the company, work campus in downtown Des Moines is great, positive culture,

Cons

I've worked in a couple different departments within the Claims organization and it feels out of control. Executive level is unable or unwilling to get a handle on staffing and workload, and prefers to have low level management try to motivate employees to handle the work of 2-3 people. Work-life balance is terrible, and it's bad for employees and customers. Departments within Nationwide seem barely able to communicate or work together in a meaningful way.
