Pros

Excellent pay to start Great benefits including pension, but high deductible medical can be difficult Flex scheduling for some associates Great campus location and laid back atmosphere

Cons

Technology is behind Managers do not appreciate nor accept a diverse culture Too many political games Favoritism and nepotism have ruined the talent pool and chances for advancement Discriminatory practices Bigoted and insecure middle management Raise structure is horrible Bonuses are a joke After coming in salaries are terrible Chances for advancement in other departments can be stalled by your current leader

Pros

There is a lot of opportunity to move within the company allowing you to obtain a breadth of skills. The ESDm (Enterprise Solution Delivery methodology) processes used for projects are comprehensive. The use of Yammer (internal facebook-like site) to capitalize on the employees collective knowledge. Very supportive of training. Has its own internal weekly radio broadcast.

Cons

Difficult to advance unless have breadth of cross-departmental (~3-5 positions) experience. Change in Management about every 12 - 18 months, which reflects the internal cultural expectation (I was told if I was in the same position 2 years that was too long). Low job morale (I suspect it is due to constant change in management and direction). Political.

Pros

Low level management is relatively good and helpful to find the right position for and connect with employees. There is a great amount of discussion around synergy and employee engagement, including occasional team-building, offsite trips. The company does a good job of training their employees and keeping them up to date with the technology they use.

Cons

There is a large disconnect between the employees and upper management. There is a lack of trust between fellow coworkers, leading to rumors. Senior employees don't stick around too long since the company is unwilling to pay a high enough salary for their experience.
