Pros

Some of the people are nice.

Cons

No development work for CS majors, irresponsible upper management, poor compensation package. Development work is sent offshore yet production support remains the responsibility of the 'developers' that did nothing more than go to meetings to delegate the work to contractors. Let them support the apps at 3 in the morning so the 'developers' can rest up for having six hours of meetings the next day.

Pros

Always hiring...easy to get a job

Cons

Nationwide does not recognize talent or leadership. They do not encourage innovation and hard work is rewarded with more work. Poor performing employees get less work but if you are good at your job, you have to pick up the slack

Pros

All levels of the company take pride in development, offering many opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

Cons

Like a previous reviewer, I find my current job limiting my growth potential. I will likely leave this company within 12 months because of a lack of growth opportunities. What I am receiving is far below what I give.
