Pros

Co-workers are good. Benefits are nice.

Cons

It use to be a good place to work. Now you walk on egg-shells...QA writes operators up for the smallest of errors, i.e. wrong date, forget to dot an 'i' or cross a 't', seriously!! Supervisors have double-standards, if they don't like you, they will falsify incidents then report to HR; next thing you are terminated. While others can't operate a machine without damaging it (on a daily basis), and nothing happens to them. It is quite sad to see this go on.

Great people, Great culture, Opportunity to grow

Pros

Team Commitment - with few exceptions, team members take great ownership and personal responsibility for their contributions. Open Culture - Opportunities and issues alike are addressed openly and constructively and are handled as a learning opportunity for team member growth. Access - Top management and functional leaders are all very accessible and engaged in key initiatives. Growth Potential - Though this hinges upon earning the opportunity and support of senior management, there are tremendous opportunities to grow professionally within this organization.

Cons

Slow Moving - SNA (or Nature's Way) are quite conservative, deliberate, and thus very slow to act. This can get frustrating for the extremely driven individuals, and can lead to missed opportunities due to a lack of agility. Talent Upgrade by Replacement - More often than in the past, management is electing to increase capabilities through new hires and outside recruitment rather than creating a means of enriching their current talent pool or potential. This can lead to one-sided and unsustainable value creation in favor of the company. Seems a bit old fashioned to me, but things change and so could this.

Pros

Great “swag”…t-shirts, company potlucks, a holiday gift. Flexibility was great for my salaried role. PTO maxes out at 6 weeks plus 12 company paid holidays. My boss (who was part of a workforce reduction, was the best boss I’d ever had). Many of the people that work here are incredible! They’re the driving force behind NW. I miss the people the most! Great products and the company genuinely does their manufacturing the right way! Customer Care and Sales Operations/support teams are stellar!

Cons

They will pay a newcomer more than they pay their tenured employees. There are yearly cost-of-living increases but no merit increases based on great performance. Constantly ask for “more” assigning more responsibilities and stating no title change or merit increases until you prove your worth. The prior leader of the sales team was a tyrant who played severe favorites and claimed an “open door policy” which couldn’t be further from the truth. CEO turned over twice in less than five years. The company has an identity crisis that they’re hopefully sorting out.
