Pros

1- Work environment is great. Most of the people in the office are friendly, smart, sharp, very knowledgable, and fun. 2- Nature of the work is exciting. There is no boring day at Navanti. Everyday the work is different. 3- Room to be creative. Products are not always rigorous and analysts can get analytically creative with the products. 4- Friendly management. Admin and Management is easily accessible and friendly to everyone. Despite its limitations, it still encourages growth and tries to be as open as possible with employees. 5- Company moving in the right direction. Hiring new people to key positions is helping the company grow steadily. 6- Flexible schedule. Company is extremely flexible on working from home policy and "flex fridays". Some employees are still in school and the company works around their schedule.

Cons

1- Company has had issues in the past especially with previous Managers, and is still currently suffering from the repercussions. 2- Slow growth and little raises 3- Very stressful work. Deadlines are tight and the nature of the work can get stressful. 4- Insecurity and instability due to contractual work.

Pros

To work with a group of exceptionally talented young analysts in a laid back environment. A boutique consultancy with a strong focus on international affairs and the promotion of global development. Navanti offers analysts an opportunity to work on a number of commercial and government contracts.

Cons

Working in a fast-paced environment can be challenging for new analysts.

Pros

Flex schedule and benefits are great. People are professional, intelligent, and generally very pleasant to work with. Generally speaking they were the best part of working there.

Cons

I wasn't planning on writing a review until a former colleague sent me the "Zoroaster" review published recently. This is clearly a transparent attempt by a manager (most likely the CFO) seeking to inflate the company's rating. It's reflective of Navanti's c-suite's mindset to look at some mostly-true Glassdoor reviews and say "this is clearly hyperbole and therefore totally invalid." I started after the "triage" occurred in 2014, and when I came in it was clear that morale was in the toilet. Everyone I came across resented management, and viewed their future with the company as tenuous at best. Over my year with the company I saw clumsy attempts by management to try and repair the situation, but I also came in on the heels of them out and out lying to employees about Christmas bonuses (which obviously compounded the issue) and which were never paid out, despite the company sending out a card saying they would be. It's clear that the c-suite is completely divorced from reality, and would rather dismiss legitimate concerns by employees as "trolling" instead of bothering to address them in an open and transparent manner. Every review on this page has at least a kernel of truth to it, even the claims that appear over the top have some degree of legitimacy. I have never encountered a work environment this unprofessional.
