Pros

Small company, opportunity for advancement, I've worked in 3 departments in the 6 years I've been with the company. Weekly company meetings to cover data from each department. Employees are family

Cons

I've received 2 raises in the 6 years (not including job changes). Hardly recognized for work I've done. Unable to take PTO that i have earned because of lack of staff. Over worked and under appreciated is the biggest issue. Employees are taken for granted no matter how long they have dedicated to the company.

Pros

Training by the script and making endless calls all day WILL get you practicing and make you comfortable with cold calling.

Cons

Unclear and misleading on commission structure. Not once did they mention regular sales versus the high end sales. The regular sales are were 95% of your sales come from and you only get 1% commission. This was never even mentioned during interviewing, so I wouldn't have known to ask. They talk about the upscale higher priced jewelry and how easy it is to sell. But it's not.
