Pros

-Net@Work has great people. Co-workers are super smart, supportive and fun to work with. -There’s a lot of flexibility with work schedule- which is very important to me as I raise my family. So much so that for me, and quite a few others, I was able to relocate out of the New York area and maintain my job- only I began working remotely. -The work is challenging- that’s a pro for me because I am a technical analyst and I thrive on challenges. There’s plenty of opportunity for learning - which is great for me. -Services leadership takes recommendations from teams seriously. Last year the professional services team got quarterly bonuses which was cool. Before, it was annual. -New systems training programs are being implemented -learning the latest technology helps me stay ahead of my clients -Co-founders give interactive quarterly updates. It’s great to hear about what’s going on around the company.

Cons

-Flexibility is a pro but its also a con. I often end up working longer hours than I plan -You need lots of patience and diligence to be successful -Benefits are average – could be better

If you like politics and backstabbing....

Pros

1% 401K DISCRETIONARY match. There are good people there but they just can't make a difference, so the pathetic 401K is the pro.

Cons

If you are not in the inner circle forget about getting a raise, being recognized or having any impact. If you are in the inner circle you don't even have to do any work, just be friends with the owners. Blame game and backstabbing is the culture that is cultivated by the owners.

Pros

You can get some flexibility to balance life. Most co-workers are super friendly

Cons

The higher management don’t have a certain direction to go. The employee reviews and goal setting are useless. Everything is in secret. Information is extremely restricted even like changing seats. Workflow is ineffective. The process is repeated unnecessarily because of the unprofessional management. They tell you what to do instead of what we need to achieve so there is no space for employee to try to improve the process. If they make mistake they blame employees. Managers are afraid of taking responsibility. If there is something goes wrong, some manager’s first response is finding a employee to blame instead of fixing the problem. There is no chance to negotiate the salary or bonus. Once you join the company, you have whatever they gave you.
