Very Dissatisfied

Pros

1. There are some really nice people to work with and learn skills from 2. Monthly free pizza 3. Good office location

Cons

1. Sometimes company is not able to fulfill its promise to employee, such as salary raise, bonus, etc..which will surely lose the trust of employee in the long run 2. It's more like a consulting company. People with technical skills will not be treated with enough respect. They will need you when projects need you, and they may fire you as soon as projects are complete. 3. Senior managers seem to have too much power. They may fire people they don't like personally, whether they are talented, important to the team or not.

Pros

Some colleagues are good and friendly and very happy to work with them.

Cons

1. Do not care about product quality They just focus on the speed to finish the product and do not care about the quality. If you can find very quick way to finish it, they will say you should use that one, although it is wrong way. No testing technology(what they say about QA is just click here and there). 2. Low salary and no benefit The salary here is very very low( much lower than the average salary in industry). Never raising and no bonus. They even low down you salary because of some wired reason after you join the team. Bonus! It is a joke. 3. No career opportunity You can learning nothing here except using plugins. You can write you own module or plugin. But manager will ask you why don't you find a plugin or module from internet. If you have any idea about the feature, they will say don't write it by yourself and find a plugin to implement it. You will lose your passion if you work here. 4. Cheating For person, do not believe what they say to you because nothing is true. If manager made some mistake, they will say it is dev's problem. The estimate time of one feature or project are decided by PM or Consulting manager and never talk with devs. What they will say to devs, "you can find a plugin to do this. Oh it is very easy." 5. Keep you busy If the team does not have much work to do, the consult manager will find you to ask you to find something which can make some revenue by yourself for company to do. The culture of this company is "Keep you busy". 6. Messy and bad management Let one guy do everything ignoring his background (PM: coding). For project, PM decide what platform developer should use and what technology developer should use. If things goes wrong, it is developer's problem. They cannot guide people work harder and happily because their idea is to find a senior developer but can accept low salary. It causes lot of people quit the job and hardly find new developers. They still want to add more revenue therefore they add more work the current developers with poor project management. My feeling: if they want you, they will say nothing but if they do not want you, they will use some way(decrease your salary, do not give work to you, etc) to let you go. They will fire or lay off any employee without any notice or any package and ask you to leave in one hour. For good work environment, you can learn new things or you can get good payment with hard work. In this company, you can get nothing. It is very sad to say these word because I feel very happy to work with my colleague, they are very nice and friendly. But this is all I feel.

Pros

- Amazing coworkers. The entire consulting and development team is full of talented and fun individuals - Great opportunity to learn a lot on both the business side of clients and also the technical side of the products worked on - Vast array of client types and personalities to help build good experience

Cons

- Company has lost a lot of its culture as it has grown - Pay doesn't always match level and amount of work done - Very slow career growth - Bonus structure is based on what clients have paid and not what was worked so if clients don't pay, you don't get credit - Benefits aren't the greatest
