Cons

Favourtism causes a high turnover, new staff is continuously hired and therefore the office regularly lacks on L2 standards of support. Everyone is more worried how to please their managers for a promotion not earned. This is evident when you see that most of the managers are ex TSE's who mostly were bad as engineers and somehow snuck their way into management only to be useless and damaging for the company. A small pack that protects themselves and ensures their control in the office, hence the high turnover, many absence due to "sickness" and other nasty outcomes.
