Pros

I enjoy the part 91/135 flight planning. My peers are experienced and good mentors.

Cons

Management does not prioritize safety or staffing. We are expected to monitor anywhere from 50-250 aircraft at a time. Most days we are pressured to release 50+ flights, regardless of weather and other factors; more flights if someone calls off sick. Additionally, our pay has not changed in 8 years despite industry standards and averages rising quickly in that time frame. The company wishes to pay us based on workload as well. With no adjustments being made to dispatcher pay, expect to have a roommate or working partner to afford to live in Columbus, OH. The dispatch department is burnt out and fatigued.

Useless in-flight team

Pros

401k and insurance. Which will come in handy considering the way the fly you from sun up to sun down.

Cons

Just an overall awful culture, horrid f/a union that's obviously in bed with upper management. The present inflight management were obviously friendly appointments, and doesn't seem to have a clue, of what their positions entails. they obviously feel as if management is a weekly cut and paste memo with positive quotes. Less quotes ladies and more work is my advice. Numerous committees as it relates to the f/a body and nothing seems to get done. again most of the committees are friendly appointments all in bed with management and the f/a union all serving no real purpose.

Pros

There are no real pros to working at NetJets.

Cons

Some of the upper management will be overbearing on you and request some out-of-this-world tasks. Your work hours will fluctuate to the point that you will not be able to tell which day is which, which can make scheduling personal obligations difficult. Some of the staff are very close knit and will talk about you behind your back if you do anything that is not to their liking. Additionally, they will join in and make stuff up about you and report you to upper management if they feel you are not "one of them" just so they can get rid of you.
