Career : Will get an opportunity to work in different projects, different sites and different technologies. Work Culture : Mostly inherited from erstwhile Convergys IM, hence good. NC India has a very open and friendly work culture. Loads of vision.
Cons
Perks & Benefits : They are continuing with the same perks and benefits that a sinking IM was having, which doesn't show NC in a good light. Health and insurance benefits are very poor compared to other companies that are doing good in the same space. They compare themselves with Amdocs' and Ericssions' but NC's benefits are no where compared to theirs, inspite of consistently putting themselves in the same league. They care about each and every penny and that's the reason I say that they are a BIG start up company. Training: Training @ mgmt level is not there, whereas they can take some cue from their competitors. Hiring: Need to go to top notch colleges and it needs to be planned well in advance in India. Our company, which includes top mgmt and HR don't have confidence that bright students from best colleges would join us. Thought Leadership : There is no room for it. The company is busy in doing its prime business : body shopping :). Creativity and Innovation have gone for a toss.
