About the Customer Documentation and Training (CDT) team at Netcracker
It has been a wonderful experience working as a part of the CDT team here at Netcracker.
Once a Technical Writer, always a Technical Writer has a new definition here. I have about 10 years of experience in this field, but the amount of core writing that I have done in the past few months for Netcracker has really been an eye opener. It has technically enriched me and got me back to the basics of writing.
One of the advantages for the writer at Netcracker is that you do not have to haggle with any SME to prove the importance of documentation. Each SME is allocated his\her share of hours to provide the CDT team with reference documentation, demos, technical review comments, and the required servers to test the functionality. Due to this kind of accountability, the work gets completed on time and in a refined process. A writer actually owns his\her piece of work in an end to end cycle.
We also have CDT global teams working out of Russia, USA, to name a few. I have worked with both teams for two projects and it has been a great experience.
The work here is challenging and they have a robust environment. I work with an amazing team and we have our share of fun times too.

Each company has cons, but nothing here that cannot be managed.
