Pros

Netcracker offers an industry-leading product in its niche. I worked both in product development and implementation development teams and like to say that being an industry leader is quite an interesting challenge. We have a high bar for product delivery and matching business needs. This challenge give a very good raise in skills for every individual in teams here and is the best what an employee may take from this company. In general, overtimes are paid. An opportunity to see the world: almost every team member spend 2-4 months a year in business trips.

Cons

Underestimation in every project. Let's say you make an estimation for 100 man-days of your team work, and no doubt thy will be truncated to 60 by sales and PM, along with closer deadlines. Say hello to overtimes and sacrifice of quality. Project and line management is careless to teams: - there are strict and unified rules for any project process. If your project is somewhat specific, you cannot make changes to the rules and project team will suffer and spend their personal time (not paid) to fulfill all discrepancies between rules and reality. - if your team's work result is decided to go to bin, you will be alone with your feelings about it. - line managers has extreme bias to employees, because of what the company lost a plenty of talented developers and testers. In Russia, salary is slightly below market average.

Pros

No pros, just luck if you get a project; they don't have projects. Clients no longer believe in Netcracker technology.they have also discontinued free food and cab services.

Cons

This company was the worst for me as a fresher. My experience was very bad. They hired me and gave backend training, but assigned me a frontend project on a trial basis. Despite positive feedback from my project manager, they said they needed experienced people. Consequently, they shifted me to an L1 support role. I didn't got any project interview call for the role I got hired.Don't join this company from the first day you will feel they can fire you anytime.
