Pros

Benefits were average to above average Company in generally good financial shape, no risk of the lights being shut off Some smart co-workers to learn from

Cons

Just about everything else. Management is out of touch, and quite frankly not that intelligent either, and has none of the vision they never stop talking about. The only vision they really have is converting Netsmart into a clone of Cerner and treating their people like garbage along the way. Don't take my word for it though, read the dozens of similar replies on this site. Employees are treated like cattle and pay is weak compared to the market.

Pros

Company is growing very fast. Lots of opportunities for those willing to put in hard work and wear many hats. The portfolio of products are good and the communities served make it worth the hiccups.

Cons

With fast growth comes growing pains. Some people have trouble delegating and then letting go. We need to divide and conquer. There's more work to do than can possibly be done sometimes, and certainly when we are duplicating efforts.

Pros

I had left to pursue another opportunity only to realize the better one was the one I left. Lot's of change caused me concern, when I should have seen it as opportunity. Many things have changed at Netsmart, but they needed to change. Too many problems were left unmanaged for too long, Netsmart had lost it's way. The new leadership team has made many changes. Netsmart 2.0, as management calls it, is about doing what must be done for it's customers.

Cons

Need to communicate more about all that is happening. Not knowing caused me to question, which is why I left. Now that I'm back I have a better appreciation for why all the changes. Please post all open jobs so more of us can apply for them. I've seen people get jobs that I would have liked to apply for if I had known they were open.
