Pros

I have appreciated Neustar's willingness to allow for remote work, which I have done for a majority of my time with Neustar.

Cons

In 2018 Neustar reduced the annual PTO for new hires, which feels like unnecessary stinginess. Pay raises have also been pretty modest in recent years.

Thank you for your review of Neustar on Glassdoor. Part of our commitment to fostering a culture of feedback at Neustar is listening and responding to our teams’ needs. This has resulted in a work environment that is highly productive while allowing for flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. We’ve worked hard to ensure our employees feel supported with mental health benefits, systems, and resources to achieve this kind of flexibility. We appreciate your feedback –for taking the time to provide specific input on what you’ve found rewarding about working at Neustar and what you feel could be improved. - Carey Pellock, Chief Human Resources Officer

Pros

Neustar Costa Rica offers good benefits as 20 PTO days a year. They also introduced Mental Health Days last year, they give around 5 more days off for Mental Health. Medical Insurance is standard.

Cons

Leadership doesn't have stability. Managers quit a lot. They need to establish better processes. Other benefits like Study Expenses depend on two manager level approval and department budget. I haven't been able to take advantage of it. Merit and bonus are not meritocratic. You can do a lot or nothing you will always receive a 3 (standard)

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at Neustar. We are proud of our global company with teams in the U.S., Costa Rica, EMEA, and India, and new technology that has enabled better communication, greater efficiencies, and a more flexible work environment. We’ve worked hard to ensure our employees feel supported with mental health benefits, systems, and resources to achieve a healthy work-life balance that includes generous paid time off and mental health days. Neustar has undergone tremendous change in the past three years. We had a lot of work to do to create a strong foundation to support our growth objectives. We feel energized about our direction and excited about Neustar's future. I appreciate you sharing some of your concerns and welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly – please feel free to reach out to me anytime. - Carey Pellock, Chief Human Resources Officer

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback on your experience at Neustar. We rely on the insights of our employees to help us improve our operations and make Neustar a great place to work. This past year has been challenging and demanding on all of us, and TeamNeustar stepped up in ways we never could have imagined. Caring for our team via our mental health framework and the systems that support physical health, relaxation, balance, and getting help is very important to Neustar. It’s unfortunate that you are not having effective career conversations with your manager. Please connect with your HR Business Partner for guidance here. Thank you again for your review. - Carey Pellock, Chief Human Resources Officer
