Pros

Afforded a lot of operational responsibilty/accountability and seems like a meritocracy. If you perform at a high level and differentiate yourself, you will be rewarded with increased opportunities and loyalty.

Cons

Definitely high expectations and long hours. Need to be Ok with personal satisfaction of doing your job well and personal opps to learn/grow and not getting recognized for every little 'win'. Not going to get a 'pat on back' for accomplishing things you're supposed to accomplish.

Pros

Great place to start a career if you want to be in sports. Interesting environment and work culture. Lot of top down management.

Cons

Low salary like most sports, slow moving overall. Very poor communication around entire organization. As a result there is a low retention level.
