Pros

• Very up to date technology and top-notch IT department • Company is growing very rapidly so in theory there should be career opportunity • Laid back atmosphere, and the company tries to make things enjoyable with picnics, parties, and other events • If you get into the right position the work can be very interesting

Cons

• Pay is not competitive – after working in your position for a few years you can definitely apply elsewhere and get a much higher salary • Company-wide issue of not promoting internally, combined with low pay to begin with leads to a lot of talented people leaving within a few years • Zero work from home flexibility, work day does not end until 5, the CEO walks around at 5:30 to see who is still there working • Company’s rapid growth lead to a lot of people having to work jobs that they did not sign up for along with working overtime at their improper position, leading to a lot of people leaving

Pros

Initial training you get, not every place provides training (and I worked for a lot of places). Pay isn't bad, but your going to work your butt off for it. Co-workers, some are good people. No micro-management Nice Christmas parties and some fun events if you can go to them.

Cons

Like I said in my headline review, similarities: Management needs to take classes on how to manage. Most of them are their to collect a pay check and that is all. No growth, doesn't matter how hard you work, experience or dedication. If your well liked you move up. Mandatory overtime, this will change. Expect to work 5 to 8 hours of over time every week. Basically expect to feel like you live at work. Like some reviews states your chained to your desk. Benefits very high and horrible, PTO days means personal time off, but DO NOT get sick. Extreme strict policy for calling in sick even if you have PTO. Bonus is there, but no one can really tell you why it continues to decreases by the hour weeks after it should be finalized. Ask and you will get a vague answer. Everything is verbal, don't expect to see it in writing or in a file. You will get a generic guide that hasn't been updated. Ask questions and management makes you feel like you asked them to climb mount Everest to get it. No one seems to be on the same page and I have seen no changes since I started, only shuffling of work meaning some work being spread to the three locations. Holidays and PTO policy changes. I have never worked for a place where they change every year. One year you might have x number of PTO and off for certain holidays and the next year you might have PTO less holidays. Major system issues, be prepared to major system errors, slowness, freezes. Expect this 70% of the week. I worked for many companies, but this company's system takes the award for the worst over all.

Thank you for your review. You obviously have serious concerns about management, overtime/PTO, and our systems. It’s difficult for us to respond appropriately to anonymous reviews, so we encourage you to take advantage of our “open-door” policy and share your thoughts with your supervisor. But if you don’t feel that is a viable option, please talk with one of your supervisor’s senior managers, or with someone in Human Resources. We’re working to build a corporate culture that values everyone; and we need everyone’s input—including yours—to grow and advance.
