      A company who listens and responds

      Pros

      Easy and quick access to management, when needed to resolve issues. Management team who is responsive. Excellent training, tools and resources. Opportunities for advancement. Hands down the best mortgage processing system I have ever worked on with over 30 years spent working in this industry. Peer to peer and management/employee recognition through Motivosity is excellent. Promotes a workplace that is cultural focused and rooted in community. Veteran focused for both lending and hiring. Common sense UW Management and leadership. Maintains and services their mortgage customers giving loan officers have the opportunity to retain lifelong clients and clients less concern of their loan being sold.

      Cons

      I don't have specific cons to list. I've never worked for a perfect employer in the mortgage business. All have strengths and weakness. I find that Newrez management listens to staff about any areas felt to be a weakness and puts plans in place to improve any that may come up.

      Pros

      - I like the culture. Every month I see flyers or corporate emails promoting various activities led by different groups. - Internal reward system translates to real money. Every month we have $5 to gift. - Good work life balance. - Upwards mobility possible. Can apply to different positions within company. - Portal dedicated to volunteer opportunities. Time volunteered translates to $ to a cause of your choosing.

      Cons

      - Many departments cannot step away from their desks to attend said corporate activities. Either management restricts them, or their job duty won't allow for a break. - I have seen A LOT of layoffs. - Difficult to connect and work with different departments.

      Pros

      Newrez truly cares for their employees and customers. They encourage the health and well-being of their employees (Work/Life Balance). Newrez also has a deep attachment to Community and Veterans needs. I have never worked for a company with such a connection. Heartwarming

      Cons

      Becoming fully vested shouldn't take so long.
