Pros

Work/Life Balance, good compensation and benefits.

Cons

There is no clear direction on where we are going due to constant layoffs. It was good until they bought a company and is not going as expected

Hi friend. When reductions in force happen, it can lead to the confusion you are expressing. We get it. Our CEO sent a company-wide email early this week addressing the shift, changes, and clear goal for the business. I hope that helped you feel realigned. If not, please connect with your direct leader. They will be able to be a resource for you in getting ultimate clarity.

Pros

There are so many perks! If you’re a salary employee, you get unlimited FTO that you’ll be too scared to take because you don’t want to end up on a list. When you do take it, you’ll never feel alone because people will continue to reach out to you to do things they are more than capable of doing on their own. You’ll have hourly opportunities to practice your deep breathing as you grapple with the overwhelming level of incompetence. You’ll have many chances to post fake reviews on Glassdoor because the company is getting trashed, rightfully so. You’ll receive your bonus, maybe, but it’ll be a fraction of what you’re supposed to get. If you’re an executive, you’ll be able to constantly fail and receive a cushy exit plan where you still get your bonus while half of your team has been let go. You’ll have the incredible opportunity to connect with local healthcare providers in your area as you will likely end up on high dose anxiety meds because you’re scared if you’re going to be in the next quarterly layoff. If you love sitting in traffic, Nextiva is perfect for you as they’ve decided to implement a return to office when gas prices are at a record high and inflation is destroying the working class.

Cons

Nextiva has undergone an incredible transformation. They went from being a company that cared about culture and the lives of their employees to a shell of their former selves. Their greed has blinded them from providing a quality place to work and a quality product. Now it’s all vibe coded slop thrown together by people working 16 hour days.
