Pros

I am loving my new job at Nextiva. My previous employer put a lot of pressure on our team and I took that on in a big way, this caused sleepless nights and eventually I had to leave. The environment at Nextiva is nothing like my old employer and I am much happier and feel like I have a lot more balance in my life now. My manager even encourages us to leave on time! Career paths are pretty clear and I am getting some mentoring which was really important to me. I also enjoyed the on boarding and ongoing training opportunities which are helping me develop and grow in my career. It’s early days but so far I’m very happy.

Cons

I am yet to think of any but I’ve only been with the company for a month!

Pros

I really enjoyed my time at Nextiva. I haven’t been able to find that level of excitement about work since I left. My reasons for leaving were unrelated to the company and I was really sad to go.

Cons

I had to leave as my husband got a job in another city and we moved. That’s my only con!

Pros

The work is challenging but what sets Nextiva apart is they really invest in you to make sure you’re a success there. As long as you have the right attitude then you will have everything you need to get the job done. They’re not looking for miracles. They are practical people and make sure the staff are well trained and supported so they can achieve the goals set before them. It’s not common and I’ve not worked for another company like this one.

Cons

Work life balance is difficult. I’ll admit. Partly because there is a lot to do and it’s engaging and interesting work so it’s hard to switch off sometimes. I think that might also be due to my age and not having a lot of experience. The older people on our team don’t have as much trouble so I hope to be able to learn how they manage workload and life over time.
