Fake reviews and constant layoffs in engineering

The company has been going downhill for several years. Leadership has hired a large number of people in India and offshored many roles, while conducting layoffs in the U.S. at least a couple of times a year. The justification is always the same - “the market is changing”, even though it’s pretty clear that offshoring to India is the main cost-cutting strategy. You can be a strong contributor and have years with the company, but you’re still never safe; it feels like anyone’s time can be up at any moment. All these overly positive reviews also feel suspicious given how many layoffs have happened. Morale has dropped to its lowest point, and many employees - especially engineers, are being stretched beyond their limit. Seems these reviews are inflated or pushed by HR to hide what’s really going on.

Hi Friend. We are sorry that you were impacted by the recent workforce reduction. It's never easy saying goodbye to those who've been a part of the business for so many years. We have a lot of amazing leaders through out our India office who work hard at in-house experience and overall communication.
