      Pros

      It’s a unique place. I worked at Dell previously and you can’t compare the two companies. Nextiva is much more like a startup. Things move fast, and accountability is high. What I see as the biggest green flag is the people. The people are the best I’ve ever worked with. Almost everyone I meet, regardless of department, are kind, caring, and smart. It wasn’t like this at Dell. There’s a no excuses mindset that attracts me.

      Cons

      Minimal direction and feedback. It’s not a company that I would suggest to most of my friends at Dell. Dell is safe and doesn’t change much. I’ve been on multiple teams and departments while at Nextiva. Whereas at Dell, I was on one team, with the same manager, for almost 5 years. In some ways, you’re on your own at Nextiva. You just need to figure things out, and that can be tough.

      Awful Company - LAYOFF central

      Salary, PTO, Work life balance

      Cons

      6 rounds of layoffs in the past 2 years. This company has zero direction and zero leadership. They are a sinking ship. They can have two choices, and they'll almost always pick the wrong one. They are moving to the 100% offshore model.

      Work culture is good and management is supportive.

      No Job security. You won't even get a single day notice. Lay offs are continuously done throughout the year.
