Pros

Nextiva's grown fast in just a few years. Every Monday it seems like there are new people joining the team. I like my coworkers and the team atmosphere. People are so nice.

Cons

It's fast paced, always. I haven't seen a slow day yet.

Pros

The occasional flexibility to work from home is the only minor positive, but this temporary convenience is completely overshadowed by a deeply flawed culture and massive operational shortcomings.

Cons

Remote Work Bias & Overlooked Contributions: My entire output and contributions were systematically overlooked simply because I worked remotely and did not commute to a physical office. The proximity bias here is severe. Complete Lack of Recognition: Recognition is virtually nonexistent. No matter the high effort, hours invested, or actual project results, appreciation is never given. There is absolutely no respect or acknowledgment for hard work if you aren't visible in the office. Toxic Work-Life Balance & Bad Culture: There is a persistent, unmotivating expectation to work well beyond regular office hours. The leadership team operates with a severe lack of direction; managers have no clear vision, which leads to a highly disorganized and demoralizing engineering environment. Poorly Handled Exit Experience: The lack of professional courtesy carries all the way through to the end. The exit process was handled incredibly poorly, showing zero accountability, coordination, or respect for an outgoing employee’s time and dedication.

Pros

Flexible work timings, but only to serve two different time zones!

Cons

The constant hire and fire cycle makes this company look more like a washing machine than a functioning company. The worst part is that there is no one who knows what is going to happen next week. This is the same for all, from director positions to floor employees. This is the same for the product too, not many know what is going to happen in the next month or even 6 months from now. The recent hire and fire might seem like a one-off, but don't be fooled. Nextiva has been doing these recruitment cycles even before we could blame it on AI. It will be evident if you go back and read the reviews from earlier. Also, most of the positive reviews here are also HR/culture team-induced. Just one week before they fired me, they asked me to write an "honest review" of the company on Glassdoor. And look at me now, writing the most honest review they asked for.
