Pros

I can't emphasize the greatness of the people I work with. This is the biggest pro here. I'm nearing one year at Nextiva and everyone around me is smart, relatively young, hard working, lives near me and just flat out fun. The perks are solid. Great food, real culture, cool shirts, and random fun stuff. Like we just had a saxophone player surprise the office and play the sax for everyone. Even better, it was sexy sax man from the AGT and the youtube videos. Pure awesomeness. I come to work everyday with a smile and looking forward to the day ahead. This has been a great opportunity and I appreciate it.

Cons

It feels like a startup more than your typical corporation. While I do see processes and structure, I feel like things can and do change very quickly. Sometimes too fast. While I feel there are great people and hard workers here, I do get the feeling that we are running at 120% nonstop. This can get overwhelming. Food restocking can be slow at times. But when it's stocked. Wow.

Pros

Lots of positive things going on there. It's a nonstop work environment, no dull moments. I learned lots of business and work skills in my two years at Nextiva. They're building a customer focused culture and it's spreading well. I continue to use what I learned at Nextiva in my current job at Yelp.

Cons

Compared to others jobs I've had, Nextiva is the most intense. There's very little time for hanging out or relaxing there. This is a pro and a con.

Pros

Everyone I work with really cares about delivering amazing service. It's a team atmosphere and I've made close friends here. People are treated well. Great food all the time and fun programs. Free shirts. Opportunity to move up internally. Amazing.

Cons

Working in customer service, there are times where it can get frustrating. Some customers are rude and very demanding. I can see this being an issue with lots of companies. Nextiva and the management does a great job of making sure we are fair and keep customers happy. There are times where I'm asked to work overtime. Pay is extra but still tiring to work 10+ hours in a day.
