Pros

There are many plusses to working here. Prior to Nextiva I worked at AT&T in Tempe for 3 years and did not enjoy going to work. In my 2 months at Nextiva, I've learned more, accomplished more, and actually enjoyed coming to work. I look forward to coming in each day. The people I work with here are smart and kind.

Cons

I live in Gilbert and the traffic coming in to work can be tough at times. Since I need to be in at 8am, I spend about 30-60 minutes on the road each morning. Going home is usually worse.

Pros

Great atmosphere and nice office. Constant focus on culture and the mission of amazing service. Good technology (most of the time). It's laidback but there is always pressure and guidance to improve performance. Food! I've made great friends working here.

Cons

Lots to do. The office can get chaotic at times. I've seen lots of improvement in communication since I joined in December, but there's still opportunity. Sudden changes are never fun, if we change a process, let everyone know in advance. Makes life easier.

Pros

The compnay have some cool coffee machines, nice recreational onsite like pool table, Xbox and ping pong

Cons

While working for nextiva I never received breaks or lunches on time or not at all while working for the company. With not getting breaks or lunches hurt my health which my manager seemed to not care. Also the tech leads in the support department need to learn how to manage people without being snotty about what they know compared to what you know. Team leads acted like they didn't care to help fellow workers under them. Also Nextiva has no escalation from a tier 1 to a tier 2 which is ridiculous in a business. The turnaround rate I heard from other employees is High so that says something about a company. Also while working for the company I never had a opportunity to play pool, ping pong, or xbox because I never received breaks or lunches to do such activites. Which would help relax at work instead of being stressed all the time

Nextiva Response
11y
Hi there, Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with Nextiva. We genuinely look for feedback that helps us improve and innovate. Always hearing great news feels good, but responses like yours help us identify where we need to do better. To answer some of your concerns, we believe that first call resolution is in the customer's best interest. We believe getting the necessary support as quickly as possible is a happier experience than "jumping" up levels of support. We agree with you that we can always be improving as leaders, today and in the future. We are currently considering how we can offer better on-going leadership training to support our managers. Thank you for your feedback.
