Pros

You can trust HR to help you with management craziness...

Cons

Low Pay, Management doesn't care because you aren't from Stockton, CA, and if you can't speak Spanish then you aren't part of the click.

Fast paced, no training, sink or swim

Pros

Fast-paced environment that can push you to stretch your capabilities Pay

Cons

Leadership style: Very “sink-or-swim.” Managers focus on hitting numbers first, people second. Onboarding & training: Almost nonexistent. You’re expected to “turn water into wine” without proper tools or guidance. Performance management: You’re treated like a statistic until you prove you’re indispensable. New managers: Many are promoted without real people-management training—tendency to crack the whip and quickly terminate rather than coach. Match process: Poorly calibrated; hires often find their responsibilities don’t align with initial expectations. Work–life balance: Virtually nil—expect extended hours with little flexibility or understanding of personal commitments. You work alot of weekends. Team culture: Many colleagues simply drink the Kool-aid, parroting leadership’s directives without question, which stifles genuine collaboration and innovation. Team members are often competing against you as well. Morale: Most team members I worked with seemed scared to speak up or admit mistakes, fostering a culture of fear rather than growth.

Pros

> Pay is not bad > Relatively easy interviews > A very few genuinely nice people.

Cons

People considering this company, pay attention.. > Toxic work culture: Overtime, Overtime and overtime. But ofcourse there is no concepts of overtime for FTE so you don't get paid for it. Say goodbye to your family. > Everyone seems to be in a defensive mode. Instead of focusing on what's going wrong, everyone tries to play the blame game. Its the kind of environment which will push your anxiety to levels you don't know exist. > Career growth : As you can see from the other review, favoritism is rampant at Niagara. You will be tossed from teams to teams or dead end projects to other dead end projects until you can no longer take it. It doesn't matter if the work you put in has nothing to do with your background. This is terrible for you and the company. > Perks : They don't mean anything! At face value, the pay might not seem bad, with the amount of hours you will put in are crazy, Travel is unnecessary most of the time. Vacations? Well, you are offered unlimited vacation and time off which you can never take. > The performance reviews are nothing but a joke. Nothing changes upwards. If you provide a genuine negative feedback, they will use it push you towards termination. > Hiring: Under the guise of running lean and fast paced work environment, you will be overworked to the core. The company seems to be hiring a ton of early career foreign workers over locals whom they can milk. Stay away international students. This is not the job you want! All in all, there is a big problem of deception with this company. They promise a lot initially, but you will regret falling for them soon.
