Pros
Hired very bright talent in Engineering and the right upper management to build the right product to get to $100 million in revenue. Beyond that, there has been lack of foresight on getting to the $500 million mark. This is very common with so many startups that get to become a mid-sized company and stagnate or start treading the wrong path.
Cons
Many of the early engineers have been leaving the company and sales has also seen significant churn and it appears little is being done to retain talent. Upper management is simply busy trying to "grow" their own organizations creating needless middle management hierarchies and knows very little about the reality on the ground. Pace of execution has slowed down due to excessive processes adding to the frustration of people with the mindset of "getting things done".
