Mixed feelings!

Pros

Good work/life balance. Good company growth and a good product.

Cons

The directors/senior directors in this company are creating a riot in this company. The founders have a lot of trust in them but these directors are misusing their powers and end up taking a lot of bad decisions. Lots of favoritism in hiring. No one follows" no jerk" policy. I see a lot of people who get rejected by the team during interviews but still get hired just because the director knows them. This is a major affliction to the work quality and is a demotivating factor for the smarter counterparts. No appreciation is given to the hard working people. Again, promotions and raises are given to the people who are upper-management's favorites.

Pros

#1 - Founders have a keen focus on providing the best possible culture, experience and enjoyment across the company. #2 - The Product and CASL is so disruptive that it's not yet unleashed its full potential and this will bring the company to $1B of revenue one day. #3 - Work Life and Time Off is well-differentiated by Nimble providing Unlimited Time off. This gives you a chance to truly manage your own schedule and spend time with your families when you need it most. #4 - No Jerk Policy is unique and effective. I have yet to experience a jerk at Nimble and this is what truly brings a company forward; with the best possible team you can work for.

Cons

Right now, I haven't seen one con and that's very surprising. Time will tell.

Pros

Infosight is a nice product but it is not the game changer they say it is. Technology wise Nimble has an awesome product with CASL and all but customers just don't care about it too much to change what they are using now. It will be pretty tough for them to get into the fortune 500 due to customers vision of going to an all software defined infrastructure. Things are coming in the roadmap that will help them but sadly it won't be enough. The best thing that can happen to Nimble is to be bought by a forward thinking company.

Cons

Nimble seems to be late to the party on mostly everything ie: All-Flash. Infosight is really useful but it is not the game changer that they think it is and customers don't buy into it as much as Nimble would like. There are a million competitors out there that claim they can do this and do that but in the end customers are tired of buying another array from another vendor. They want out of the dc business so I am not sure how they are going to reach their goals. Storage industry is so volatile many will fail, even if they have good technology. No jerks policy is a farce if you ask me...some good people and some not too good. Decisions are made with zero consultation which sends teams strategies out the window. The policy should be renamed to "Only a few jerks". No one is protected in this wild and crazy industry that we are in. That is why you see zero loyalty from both a company and employee perspective. Nimble is no different. Really? No 401K match...in this day and age its an amateur move to save money.
