Pros

- The area is cool to work

Cons

- There is extremely high turnover on the card team (they are averaging a little more than 1 AE leaving per month on an already small team and they’ve lost a sales director this year as well) - There is little to nothing figured out on the sales side overall - The quotas are incredibly high with little to no training given to their reps - Senior leadership actively threatens their employees as a way to improve sales metrics and overall productivity - Employees have been lied to during their interview process, which leads to unhappiness as soon as you start - Make no mistake, this is an SDR role with an AE quota with heavy outbound metrics (80-100 cold calls a day) - Don’t expect any inbound leads (they have consistently gone to one rep and they act like it isn’t happening; this has been a big issue this year that has yet to be solved or sorted) - RevOps is still being built out so your success is predicated on the type of accounts you receive and your ability to book demos off of that list - The current manager has no leadership experience which leads to confusing advice and a lack of understanding on how to make the team better. - The comp plan is incredibly confusing and restrictive based on the size of deals they expect you to close (there are reps on the team who have over hit quota and haven’t been paid based on the rules it takes to actually make commission) - This unhappiness is not only felt by the sales team, but the company overall. Fear and distrust of management leads to a total lack of communication

Pros

Coworkers all deal with the same pressure, so you end up bonding out of shared struggle.

Cons

- If pressure is what you want, this is exactly that kind of place. The environment feels heavy all the time, and many days, you are drained before lunch even starts. - People switch from friendly to sharp in an instant if numbers drop. Management frames it as competition, but most people are clearly just trying to avoid becoming the next target. - If your opinion only counts when you are at the top of the board, it does not feel like a real team at all. - Even basic things like time off feel unnecessarily difficult, and the control over small details becomes exhausting very quickly. - Week after week, it wears people down, and you can see strong employees slowly lose motivation. The sales work itself is fine, but the environment destroys morale. - People constantly monitor numbers, check messages, and worry about who gets pulled into meetings next. - Even lunch does not feel like a break because everyone stays tense and alert. Phones are always in hand, and people look distracted even when they are supposed to rest. - A simple break still feels like you have to be on guard. Conversations drop the moment certain people walk by, and the atmosphere changes instantly. - Many people stay on edge the entire day, and after a while, most stop speaking honestly at all. - There are genuinely talented people here who still look completely exhausted. - Some support others, hit targets, and still never seem at ease, - Some leave quietly without much explanation, while others stay but clearly lose their spark. - They become withdrawn, speak less, and only do what is required. - When your strongest people look drained all the time, it says everything about the environment.
