Pros

Fairly good work life balance, a lot depends on the actual relationship with direct manager. The culture seemed pretty laid back and enjoyable and people are easy to get along with.

Cons

PTO is considered just that. There is no difference between sick time and vacation time. There needs to be more transparency between upper management and what is communicated by direct management on the performance of the company. Surprise RIFs can happen. Salary review process is terrible and needs more structure, it is very ambiguous and raises are poor, if you don't start with a good starting salary you will not be satisfied with the raises.

Failure to Execute

Business Outlook

Pros

Stability and consistency. All the promises of corporate work; benefits, competitive pay, yearly and quarterly goals. Engineering and manufacturing were exceptionally well run. Opportunities to advance for those meeting quotas and playing the corporate game (not meant to be a negative, just reality of positions within organizations).

Cons

Not a traditional inside sales role. At the time management was poorly executing it's vision and goals. Unprofessional behavior at multiple levels within the organization. In addition there seem to be an unclear understanding of how to achieve goals. Sales people will not like the role, not enough demands and unclear vision of what role inside sales plays in achieving goals. Its like they are trying to figure it out too.
