Thank you for leaving a review of what you experienced while working for North Star Insurance Advisors. We appreciate your engagement, but we are very disappointed to read that you did not have a positive work experience at North Star. We appreciate that you enjoyed our employees and contractors, facility, and training. North Star works very hard to ensure that everyone has a positive experience while working at North Star. It is nice to know that our efforts are providing the desired effect. Our sales and lead generation departments do not play favorites, and we do not appreciate your statement to the contrary. Your performance determines your priority in the system, not whether you are friends with the boss. We wish you all the best with your future endeavors.

Pros

First, I love being a part of the North Star team! Even though it is a great experience for me, there have been many agents that have not made, nor experienced the level of success I have. North Star offers a lot of support including what I'd consider the most in depth training I have ever received. After the training, you receive inbound leads which some calls are great and others not so much. Once a sale is complete, you have to do no servicing. As a person that had to do this all on their own for many years, I find tremendous value in this. In my training class, I believe 40% are no longer there after about 5 months which seems high, but it is commission only so that's why I believe agents quit so quickly. You have to have a no excuse mindset, of you will fail. If you look for reasons to fail you will. If you look for reasons to succeed you will.

Cons

Some of my the people that were in my training class quit because of chargebacks. If you are not a veteran in this industry and don't understand chargebacks, I recommend you do some research or bring it up with the recruiters/trainers when you speak with them.
