Despite what the Executive Team may say, this is not a family-friendly environment. The amount of hours and stress that is put on employees with exempt status causes health and/or family problems. The compensation is only based upon the mean of local salary surveys and does not take into consideration work-load or true hours worked. Trust me - the President and senior VP's ONLY look at numbers - their hubris will be the downfall of that company. Without at doubt if you are not generating money for their country-club lifestyles then they will get rid of you without prejudice. Imagine being in a department that does not generate money - you are completely worthless to them. Most importantly, no matter how many hours you work and how much you give to your job, it will NEVER be good enough.

There really is too many words to describe why I no longer enjoy working at ODW,my skills are being wasted I'm no longer valued management fills your head up with BS to make you feel like they are going to let you grow and achieve so much let's just say I've interviewed probably more than anyone in the company for my next promotion and am always met with "it was really close, it was between you and another candidate and we went with the other candidate" " don't be discouraged" "we think you are an amazing worker" "you have so much potential just hang in there"..blah blah blah I have a big family 5 children and the bills just keep going up and up, I need to further my growth so I can eventually be a GM and years and years just go by and I've been stuck as a lead and not one person from management or HR can give me even the smallest bit of advice as to what I need to improve on or what I may have said wrong so I can learn from my mistakes.
