I never imagined that accepting a job offer from a well-known company like OKX would turn out to be the biggest mistake of my career.
Four months into my stable role at KuCoin TR, OKX approached me with an offer. Believing it to be a step forward, I took the risk and left my job, despite already being financially strained from my previous relocation to Istanbul for KuCoin TR. I trusted OKX, only to be severely let down.
Despite excelling in my role, maintaining 100% KPIs, and even training new employees, I was suddenly terminated on the last day of my probation period with no prior warning or valid reason. The official justification? I started two days late due to unavoidable personal circumstances—something my lead had already acknowledged and accepted.
To make things worse, I was later told my termination might be linked to alleged negative feedback from Binance, even though OKX had already conducted a background check and received positive references when hiring me. When I voiced my concerns publicly, I was contacted by OKX HR and subtly threatened with legal action.
I am now left jobless, financially struggling, and on the verge of losing my home—all because of OKX’s unprofessional and unethical handling of my employment. I have been applying for jobs, but the sudden career disruption has made it incredibly difficult to recover.
This is not just about me. This is about corporate accountability. I hope my story serves as a warning to others considering working for OKX.
