      Good salary and smart people

      Cons

      Managers require work on weekends and national holidays. Early and late meetings on a regular basis (6 am or 11:30 pm). Anyone who disagrees is fired. The company administration asks you to leave good reviews for a reward (T-shirts, hoodies, etc.)

      Toxic Company with Unrealistic Expectations and Ethical Concerns

      Pros

      Free lunch and snacks provided, which is a nice perk. Building close relationships with peers.

      Cons

      The work culture is heavily influenced by an Asian hierarchy, where long hours are expected, and differing opinions from leadership are not encouraged. It's common to have meetings scheduled at inconvenient times (e.g., 2 AM), and missing one could result in calls to your personal cell phone. The company also encourages employees to leave positive reviews in exchange for incentives, which raises ethical concerns about the authenticity of feedback.

      Most bureaucratic environment I've ever experienced...

      Pros

      - Cool technology stack and possibilities within the crypto space - The brand has a good image in the public's eye - Some really awesome global colleagues who haven't bought into the 9-6-6 toxicity - Pay is typically good for most technical roles

      Cons

      - EXTREME politics take place here. Seriously. If you are an American/not of Chinese-descent or are not a Mandarin-speaking person, you will be looked down upon and not offered opportunities. This is definitely not a friendly environment for American workers. OKX implements the Chinese 9-9-6 culture and disregards anyone with any sense of work life balance as lazy. - Everything, and I mean everything, takes TONS of red tape to shift through. Their internal approval processes are awful. - Changed a lot of their benefits to be less favorable to employees because the top-down management style at OKX doesn't work with flexibility
