Pros

A mountain of opportunities as the company undergoes a transformation both in respect to the business goals and culture. For someone who is driven and willing to make a difference, the company provides the responsibility and the freedom to take decisions.

Cons

Like other companies in the past, Okcoin too is going through growing and transformation challenges. The transition from a Chinese company to a global one does introduce some challenges in working with a diverse set of team members. Decision making is still somewhat top down but probably neccesary given the ambitious goals of the company.

Pros

Good growth and outlook. Management takes risk and compliance seriously and tends to listen to proposals and recommendations around control implementations. Excellent for folks who thrive in a fast moving workspace.

Cons

Product and Engineering teams still a few steps behind when it comes to compliance engagement. This along with the fact that dev/engineering moves quickly - if you're coming from a traditional finance/fintech, you may struggle to keep up. Widespread/global distribution of teams may be a challenge to some.

The company is trying to build more and more social connections recently, I saw the Charity hiking activity on different social media, quite proud of it!

Cons

Lack of transparent communication re the rational behind some critical business decisions.
