Good reviews could be bought

Pros

I can't think of any pros

Cons

As headline, the 5-star ratings could be bought, as they are giving free stuffs for a review. Management are sucks as you need to please them or take sides with them, else no one will notice your hardwork nor promotion will be given. Unfair treatment occurs since the person is their own person, giving out kpi score where the person does not have any output. Higher management are promoted not because of their capabilities, if you know what I mean. When thing happens, they just shift the blame to someone without understanding the entire things and tend to close the case quickly. Forcing people to do OT just because they dont want to hire more people to clear the backlogs. Also threatening people that their performance review or employment status will be affected if they dont work OT .

Top down culture

Pros

- Great employee benefits - Competitive salary - Beautiful office in central location - Opportunity to attend the top events in the industry and meet lots of talented people and build connections

Cons

- Management is top down, CEO is a china man (be prepared for Chinese culture based on relationship with your bosses and narrow minded thinking for many leaders as many top management are early chinese employees with little to no international experience and refuse to learn, adapt or respect other cultures and other ways of working/ contributing) - OKX Singapore earned HR Asia's Best Companies to Work For in Asia award under Gracie but her team has only about 10 people. Positive stories refer to her small team. The Singapore office has 800+ employees total. When you apply for jobs in Singapore at OKX, it does not mean you will be in the award winning OKX SG. 99% of jobs in Singapore fall outside the "OKX SG" entity Gracie manages. Instead chances are you will fall under chinese leadership if I can even say leadership. Check other bad reviews for those examples. They are all sad but true reality of what it is; it is not the fancy award winning company for 99% of the people unless the JD says (OKX SG) and mentions MPI licensed in the team summary/ introduction.

Hello there, and thank you for sharing your feedback as it helps us to improve. We would like to clarify that the HR Asia award survey was conducted with participants across our entire Singapore office and was not limited to a specific team. We remain committed to evolving our management practices through global leadership programs to better suit our diverse workforce and thank you once again for taking the time to share your perspective.

Pros

salary is competitive with other big techs

Cons

Culture of Favoritism: A clear divide exists between "legacy" employees and newer staff. Early joiners are often allowed to underperform, while newer hires shoulder the bulk of the workload and excessive OT. Inequitable Reward System: Performance reviews and bonuses are heavily biased toward long-term cliques rather than actual output or merit. "The more you do, the more you are exploited" is the unfortunate reality here. Leadership Gap: Management is resistant to new ideas and lacks the transparency needed for a healthy work environment. Professional growth is limited unless you belong to the inner circle.
