Pros

I have been working as a an iOS Developer at OKX for over a year, and it has been an amazing experience. The company is at the forefront of mobile technology, and there are always exciting projects to work on. The management team is very supportive and provides us with all the necessary resources to excel in our jobs. We have regular team meetings where we discuss our progress, and everyone is encouraged to share their ideas and suggestions. This creates a positive work environment where everyone feels valued. One of the best things about working at OKX is the culture. Everyone is passionate about what they do, and there is a real sense of camaraderie. We have regular team events, which are always fun and help to build stronger relationships among colleagues. In terms of compensation, OKX offers competitive salaries and benefits packages. They also provide opportunities for career growth, and I have seen many of my colleagues get great bonuses. Overall, I would highly recommend OKX to any mobile developer looking for an exciting and challenging role with a great company culture. It is truly a fantastic place to work!

Cons

- Sometimes you need to work extra hours - Priorities could change in the middle development.

Pros

I have been working at OKX as a full-time employee for 2+ years now, and I must say that my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. OKX stands out as a resilient exchange that weathered multiple bear markets and even thrived in them. The company's ability to adapt and flourish in the face of market volatility is truly unique. One of the aspects that truly sets OKX apart is the remarkable engineering and product teams. These teams consistently push the boundaries at the forefront of the industry, ensuring that OKX remains a leader in both centralized trading and also the exciting Web3 space. The level of innovation and dedication displayed by these teams is truly inspiring. As an employee, I am proud to be part of an organization that actively encourages and supports cutting-edge advancements in the industry. Transparency is another key value that OKX upholds with great integrity. The monthly Proof of Reserves demonstrates the company's commitment to ensuring transparency and trust within the crypto community. This regular audit not only instills confidence in our users but also emphasizes OKX's commitment to accountability and ethical practices. In terms of the day-to-day experience, it is important to note that OKX operates at a rapid pace. This fast-paced environment may not be for everyone, but for those who thrive on challenges and enjoy being on the cutting edge of the industry, it is an exciting and invigorating place to work. Ownership is highly valued at OKX, and taking responsibility for one's work is not only encouraged but also essential for success within the company. Overall, as a current full-time employee, I can confidently say that OKX is an exceptional company to work for in the crypto space. Its resilience in both bear and bull markets, coupled with the engineering, product and marketing teams' dedication to innovation, positions OKX at the forefront of the industry. The company's commitment to transparency through monthly Proof of Reserves showcases its integrity and commitment to its users. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven by taking ownership, OKX is an excellent place to build a rewarding career in the ever-evolving world of cryptocurrency exchanges.

Cons

While OKX has many strengths, it is worth noting that the organization can improve in certain areas. For example, enhancing internal communication channels and promoting collaboration between different departments would further amplify the potential of the talented teams at OKX. I've seen substantial improvements in these areas. We are headed in the right direction, but still have work to do.

Pros

I've been designing for tech startups in the San Francisco area for years, and this is the first organization where I've been pleasantly surprised by the quick impact and innovation I've been able to achieve with my design work on the OKX Lite product, delivering more than one successful feature in less than a year with 100% integrity to the design intent. A lot of this is a testament to management in Product and Design, who share with practical transparency and strategize in ways that play to their team's strengths. People who do well here are those who are also practical and focused: who can communicate honestly others to accomplish common goals, who know how to play to their own strengths, and who have a strong point of view to share but can still listen closely and adapt well from feedback and try new approaches to persistent problems.

Cons

The perception of crypto in the mainstream is still immature, so this is not an industry for the risk-averse. Leadership does well at navigating through the tides and has been working on improving their communication with employees. Timelines can be tight and we do have moments of struggle when it comes to collaboration, being an international company juggling two very different time zones and working styles, which is why it's important to prioritize soft skills and communication. This is not a huge con for me but may be for some: international teammates sometimes means late meetings (for those in the US. Early morning if you're in Asia). 1-2 nights a week I have meetings between 6-8pm. Most colleagues are considerate about scheduling, teams generally work together to agree on appropriate times to meet, and we're always improving on process. Communication is really key.
