Pros

Remote working environment. Nice coworkers

Cons

Sales team will often sell to unqualified customers which then becomes the problem if the digital marketing specialist. Managers are overworked and were unable to offer adequate support towards the end of my time there. I had customers who were angry due to issues out of my control and they had to wait days to speak to a manager which caused them to get angry at me

Pros

-Remote Working -Good learning place -Good benefits -Good work-life balance -There are some good people

Cons

-Below average pay -Micromanaging -Dishonest angry managers -Lying to customers -No room for advancement -Management uses 'we are family' BS to make employees feel valued when they are clearly not. -If you work at OMG, do not expect to have a good long-term career. Get the experience and job hop to a better-paying company.

We disagree (obviously) with the entire sentiment of your review. Our comp plans are competitive, as our our health insurance, sales bonuses, 401k plan, PTO, Parental Leave and 100% work remote policies. If the micro management you refer to is that we expect our team to achieve a certain level of productivity, then we are guilty as charged. I would look askew at any company that does not provide clear expectations as to workflow. Hope that you find a new position that is right for you.

Hello! Based on your review, it appears that you had an experience with us in the Sales Department. We have spent the better part of 2023 with a heavy focus on establishing our sales quota and making sure it is very clear to all that work in the Sales Department. From call time, to pitches completed, to clients brought on, we would like to think there is very little ambiguity about these metrics-- frankly, we have been told we are TOO black and white with them. It was clear you got plenty of leads, and while we don't specifically know who you are, the common experience in sales is that a lackluster work ethic to hit the call time quota ends up in a scenario where individual sales targets are missed. Sales is all about the math of the position, and we do everything we can to encourage individual, team, and company performance. Unfortunately, that did not have any impact on you (else you would still be with us)-- we wish you the best of success in the future and hope you find a position that is more inline with your ambitions in the hopes that increased work ethic will follow.
