      Pros

      Global organisation with ability to move into one of the many sister companies. Has education programs fully funded including University. Head office Sydney has a good location close to transport.

      Cons

      Senior management has a lack of people skills. Disjointed team work. Expectation of a 7 day working week in the office and at home. Must be always connected.

      Pros

      Working for Otis is like batting for the Yankees. They have an excellent safety standard and working in the field for Otis gives you a lot more ability to do your job properly than working in the field at another company. Management generally have good relationship with their employees, barring an occasional bad apple.

      Cons

      Sometimes management does not get along with field employees and they unfortunately have the power to make life difficult for you. But those instances are rare.

      I believe I am paid well.

      Cons

      My day to day work situation causes me serious anxiety. I do work, I send the work, I don't hear back. I think, well maybe, I should reach out more. I try that. It doesn't work. I am told I will be called at such and such a time. No call. No email. I will start on a project and then the rug is pulled out from underneath the project and we're starting on something else. Because I seem to get nowhere, I lose hope in the job and the company. Onboarding with company is truly awful. I couldn't access my company email for over a month. Everything is difficult. They have so many access points that's it's almost impossible to keep track of them all.
