Pros

Use a wide variety of technologies across their different teams, including cloud technologies. A real non-management-track career progression path for developers who want to stay in the trenches writing code and don't want to become a paper-pushing manager. Managers who know what they're talking about and listen to you!

Cons

Pretty Java-focused, although there is some interest in Scala, particularly from the rank and file. Facilities leave something to be desired although this is improving.

Really good work-life balance. Possibility to use the University facilities such as gym, swimming pool and canteen. Use of cutting edge technologies.

Cons

Compensation below the London's average. Unclear career's progression process. There are not bonuses based on performances, apart the annual pay-review.

Cons

Large number of colleagues with different work background and ethics, this disrupts the work sometimes. The workplace requires a bit of a travel.
