Co-workers and regular customers made working there amazing

Managent is a disaster. They would rather nitpick at good employees than talk to the ones that do absolutely nothing. Favoritism was terrible. I loved working there at first. But in the end I tried as hard as I could and was blantently told I wasn't ready for a promotion I basically killed myself for! I took on extra tasks and did my original job plus basically 3 other people's jobs because they didn't have the time. But that wasn't enough. The day that I left I got into a disagreement with my manager and she told me to clock out and go home. I know I deserve better than that. And I found better. Don't work here. Don't waste your time or your pride on this job. They don't appreciate anyone.

Coworkers were the highlight of working here.

Cons

Pay, lack of scheduling/staff throughout the day, demand of insider sign-ups and how that is incorporated into your review, 10 minute breaks, outdated time clock system that was frequently down, not being able to actually complete tasks in your department because of lack of staffing on the front end, and expecting employees to work one day per week that they said they were unavailable in their original application and losing points on their review for not being able to work that one day "not having a flexible schedule to meet business demands." Full time being cut to 32/34 hours frequently. Asking for "volunteers" for Thanksgiving and pressuring employees when nobody volunteers.
