Not what it used to be.

Pros

Competitive pay Good benefits Fair amount of PTO Room for growth

Cons

Change management and cross-department collaboration are limited and often ineffective. There is a strong focus on recruiting and promoting external or newer talent, while long-tenured employees with ten or more years of service receive limited recognition. The continued outsourcing of back-office roles has resulted in multiple rounds of company-wide layoffs, creating ongoing uncertainty for employees. Additionally, while employee feedback is collected through surveys, the organization does not consistently use this input to drive meaningful improvements. In some cases, employees feel discouraged from providing candid feedback due to how low scores are perceived and addressed. Overall, the company appears to be increasingly driven by financial priorities, with significantly less emphasis on employee engagement, development, and retention than in the past.

Pros

The company offers excellent healthcare benefits that truly stand out—comprehensive coverage, reasonable premiums, and options that support both individuals and families.

Cons

The lack of hybrid or remote work options—despite clear awareness that certain departments continue to have them—has created frustration and a strong perception of inequity, particularly in roles where hybrid arrangements would be both practical and effective. The return-to-office mandate, without meaningful flexibility, has negatively impacted morale, work-life balance, and commuting burdens, including increased time, cost, and stress for employees. Additionally, workloads remain consistently high due to insufficient staffing, placing ongoing strain on employees and affecting sustainability and quality of work.

Pros

Salary, People, Flexible/Hybrid Schedule, Actively Lending.

Cons

The Incentive Program is outdated. It's capped and has no KPI payouts for fees or deposits, just a small percentage of salary. Credit is CRE-focused. No discussions on promotions. Need to hire portfolio managers.
