(staff shortage and no incentives for retention) - no upward mobility -benefits are not comparable to other facilities

- The Canadian office is run by one person, who in my experience seems to showcase narcissistic and egotistical behavior. During the interview process, he kept belittling previous employees and even mentioned how most of the office quit en-masse just a few months before, this should have been a red flag for me but unfortunately, I overlooked it. - There is no HR and no real corporate structure in the company. The general manager holds the position of HR which is very unprofessional and can lead to biases in the way the business is run. Overall day-to-day activities have very little cohesion and one has to expect the GM to have woken up on the right side of the bed in hopes that he won't belittle or talk down on you because he feels like it. - There is no real training; you are expected to meet the unrealistic expectations of the GM on your own, for the most part. He expects you to read his mind, and when things don't go the way he expects them at the time he expects them, the employee will be belittled as a result.
