Pros

The clinicians and nursing staff are passionate about improving patient care through the use of data. Physicians are respectful of the work that we do and do try to partner with the analytic folks. The benefits are quite good in comparison to other companies.

Cons

The state of healthcare analytics is very much in its infancy. There is no clear vision for analytics and what analysis actually means or can do for the company.

Pros

It's a big corporation and feels corporate and slow sometimes, but you can tell that they actually care about trying to treat people right. Healthcare is just a hard business and working for OhioHealth doesn't make it paradise, but I think they're doing the best they can. Also, feels like they're doing a lot of "winning" over the competition, which is kinda fun, even though it's less important than the patient care.

Cons

It's big. Really big. And it's growing so fast and trying to do so much that there's always change and it's hard to keep up, and it seems like everyone is always trying to catch up/flex up/staff up to the latest challenges.

Pros

Great coworkers, love working with patients . Ok sched.

Cons

Mgt needs to trust good employees and pay them what they are worth. Salary could be better. Not much chance for real advancement
