      Needs to adjust market value

      Pros

      easy parking, feel relatively safe at work.

      Cons

      Heavy patient load, only 3% pay raise each year which is below market value, does not keep up with other healthcare systems in columbus to increase pay- NCH starts their RNs at $34 an hour, Ohiohealth starts at $32. When market increased to 32 i did not receive an additional pay raise despite my years of working there. Health insurance is not that great either.

      Pros

      Good pay and feel-good opportunities to support healthcare in my community. Strong company-wide focus on patient care.

      Cons

      Culture has shifted from one of respect and appreciation for staff (front line clinical workers and administrative support) to empty words. Senior leaders are worried about their own bonuses and protecting themselves. Leaders seem to be in self-protection mode. Most (not all) really don't care about the team. Big talk in public. Little substance to back it up for staff. Benefits are below average and costly.
