      Most jobs at a hospital require you to work every other weekend, long hours.

      Pros

      Can choose shift on most floors, over time if wanted, co-workers mostly work as a team, not a lot of turnover depending on where you work, ability to move to different floors after one year of working on the same floor.

      Cons

      Parking- shuttled to lot. Everyone receives the same raise regardless of performance, 12 hour shift with one half hour break.

      Pros

      No nights, weekends or holidays. Most everyone is pleasant and nice to work with. The physicians are great, very skilled and they treat the staff well.

      Cons

      There is alot of micro-management of the staff which is stifling. Although most of the staff is easy to work with, it only takes a couple bad attitudes to make the day miserable.
