      Pretty good, lots of challenges

      Pros

      OhioHealth is strong financially, is growing via acquisitions, has strong leadership, and has lots of opportunities. Innovation in healthcare is continuing to change the role of the hospital, the hospitals are changing to better fit their communities, and the work you do matters.

      Cons

      There are some cultural oddities. Nothing horrible, but some old school, unwritten rules kinds of things (the executives have their own garage, none of the executives abide by a casual dress code even though it's in place, key cards needed to access top floor of office building).

      Might be Top 100 Places to Work for in Other Departments

      Pros

      - Convenience of WFH for my specific position - Accumulating PTO isn't too difficult.....however getting it approved is another story - Yearly bonuses handed out to entire organization

      Cons

      - Mirco managing from department manger if you land under the wrong person - Overwhelmed with loss of work/balance life is imminent - Employee Referral bonus not honored - Tuition Reimbursement (at the time) not honored. They did revamp recently though. - Pay is not competitive at all - Not valued by upper management at all. Pretty much was told our dept should be lucky to have jobs
